Cookie policy
This policy covers cookies and similar technologies, including browser local storage and session storage. The application uses browser storage rather than setting its own cookies. Optional measurement stays off until you permit it.
Your choices
Accept, reject, or choose usage and performance measurement separately. Rejection does not block the calculator or waitlist. You can reopen your choices at any time using the footer or this control:
Necessary preference storage
certarate:privacy:v1 is a first-party local-storage entry containing your usage-measurement choice, performance-measurement choice, and consent version. It contains no name, contact details, or tracking identifier. It remains on this browser until you change it, clear site storage, or a changed consent version requires a new choice. We use it to remember and respect your decision. If your browser cannot save a change, it applies to the current page only. Clear site data to remove any previously saved permissions.
Optional usage and interest measurement
certarate:session:v1 is a first-party session-storage entry containing a random tab identifier and approved campaign tags. It is created only after you allow usage measurement. It connects consented visits, payment-interest clicks, and any signup to understand the experiment. It normally lasts until the tab closes, although browser session restoration may restore it. Withdrawing usage permission clears the entry.
Vercel Web Analytics also runs only with usage permission. It measures page views and aggregated browser, device, referral, and approximate location information. Vercel describes its service as using a request-derived hash rather than third-party cookies, with visitor identification discarded after 24 hours. That is separate from retention of aggregated analytics or our own experiment records.
See Vercel Web Analytics privacy information. Contact details, payment answers, and quote values are not sent as analytics events. Page URLs have query strings and fragments removed.
Optional performance measurement
Vercel Speed Insights runs only if you allow performance measurement. It reports loading speed, responsiveness, visual stability, and device, browser, and network context. Our integration does not add a browser-storage identifier for it or send signup answers as metadata. See Vercel Speed Insights privacy information.
Changing or withdrawing permission
Use “Privacy settings” to change either optional category. Withdrawal stops future optional collection and clears our usage-tracking entry when usage measurement is disabled. The page may reload to stop previously loaded measurement scripts. Data already sent is not automatically erased by changing a browser preference; contact [email protected] about deletion.
Clearing browser storage removes your saved choice, so we ask again with optional measurement off. Choices apply to this browser; other devices need their own choices. Essential network requests to deliver the site, fetch exchange rates, submit a form you choose to send, and protect the service continue regardless of these optional settings.
More information
We do not add advertising pixels, session-replay tools, or advertising cookies. Infrastructure security features can change independently of application storage and must be assessed before enabling them. Read the privacy notice for providers, retention, and rights, or contact [email protected].
